Incoming President Rodrigo Duterte Won’t Give VP Leni Robredo A Cabinet Post
It seems that VP Leni Robredo has no hope of getting a cabinet post after the incoming President Rodrigo Dutere quits again the first to compromise National Anti-Poverty Commission or NAPC.
According to Duterte, he will not give the leadership of the NAPC to Robredo.
Duterte earlier said that he will not give a cabinet post to Robredo because he doesn’t want his friend Bongbong Marcos, the opponent of Robredo in vice-presidential race, to get ‘hurt’.
In the report of Philstar, Duterte said he will give the leadership of the NAPC in the left group so he couldn’t give it to Robredo. He will assign a woman to lead in NAPC but not to the incoming vice-president.
Duterte first give the leadership of the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD and Department of Agrarian Reform to the left group. Duterte assigned the UP professor Judy Taguiwalo in DSWD while the former Anak Pawis Rep. Rafael Mariano is in DAR.
Former rebel and party-list representative Joel Maglungsod was assigned as DOLE undersecretary.
