She was known by many of the Filipino after she joined as a celebrity housemate in the house of Pinoy Big Brother wherein she show case her personality that caught the heart of Filipino televiewers.
In a report, during her guesting on Magandang Buhay, she confirmed that she never have a debut when she turned 18 because she wanted to save money.
Furthermore, Yassi was the breadwinner of her family, she started acting at the age of 5. She began doing commercials at six years old and do some modeling.
