GSIS EMERGENCY LOAN – Here is a guide on who are eligible to apply for the emergency loan offer of the Government Service Insurance System this October and November.

The Government Service Insurance System is one of the giant institutions in the Philippines that cater services to government employees and those who are working in the public sector. It is more popularly known and called as GSIS.

If you are an active member of the GSIS who is updated in paying for the monthly contribution, you may be eligible for the different privileges and benefits provided by the social insurance institution. Among them are the GSIS loans.

GSIS has also set a list of eligibility requirements under this offer. To be eligible to apply for the said loan offer, the member must be:

a bona fide resident or employee of a government office within the area eligible for the loan
on an active service and not on leave of absence without pay
having no arrearages in the payment of the mandatory social insurance contributions
having no loan declared as default
