The gifted children in a Promil Kid TV commercial are living this kind of life now
Who would forget the famous TV commercial of Promil milk during the 1990s featuring three gifted children namely, Shaira Luna, James Flores and Kiko Galura?
In the year 1995, they showcased their abilities to the whole country. Kiko was a poet at a young age, prolific in words and rhymes.
James showed his knowledge in Astronomy while Shaira revealed at a young age her expertise in Biology.
More than two decades after, what are the lives now of these gifted children?
Kiko did not go away to his first interest. He is now a literary publicist and not only he gave life to his literary works but he also gives voice to other storytellers, based on an article.
Prior to that, he was also a creative officer in an ad agency and a visual artist.
It was also revealed on the said article that growing up was never a difficult thing for him because his parents encouraged him to involve himself in extracurricular activities which helped developed his creativity.
James on the other hand, pursued a career different from his former interest in Astronomy. He is a gifted child empowering other gifted children now.
The former TV commercial star is now a music director of a Christian church. He is leading other children who are also musically inclined like him.
In an article, James said that seeing those children learning through him and sharing what they have learned to other children gives him a fulfilled feeling and for him it is his legacy.
Shaira also pursued a career in a different field from what she was known as a kid.
Everyone thought that she would end up as a doctor when she entered De La Salle University taking Human Biology at the age of 13, based on an article.
Now, she is one of the most celebrated photographers, taking photos of celebrities both local and international.
She revealed that she took up several courses in college, such as Organizational Communication, Psychology, Translation and Philippine Studies, aside from her pre-med, but she did not finish any of those.
