20 Stranded OFW’s From Saudi Arabia Arrived in Manila

20 stranded OFW’s from Saudi Arabia have already arrived in Manila. On Saturday (August 20, 2016) 20 Filipinos that was stranded in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) since July 26, 2016 already arrived in Manila.

At 11.35 am on Saturday the stranded OFW’s arrived at Manila from the GULF Air Flight 154 that touched down in NAIA. In a total of 119 number of Filipinos Stranded in Saudi Arabia there are only 20 OFW’s arrived in Manila as the first batch.

On Saturday evening another batch of 28 OFW’s which former employees from Saudi Oger Ltd. are expected to arrived. According to one OFW named Rene Belasco from Riyadh he and his co-employees can only eat every Friday when the aid come for the delivery of foods for their salary has been withheld by their employers for 8 months.

Another testimony from Christopher Labis that they can only eat when the aid comes to their come but if not he slept off hunger pangs as no food to eat. He said he wanted to put off his flight schedule back to our country for he did not yet received his pay back for 10 months even though their secured visa is on process.
