Quim’s Cake Bakeshop and Cafe to give away P5 million worth of cake after Duterte wins the election.

International pastry chef Eliaquim Labang of Quim’s Cake Bakeshop and Cafe has fulfilled his promise to give away 5 million pesos worth of cake as Rodrigo Duterte won the presidential election.

The popular pastry chef previously made rounds online after he challenged the netizens that they are going to give away 5 million worth of sweet dessert which is typically baked if Duterte wins the election.

In the announcement made by Eliaquim Labang on his official Facebook account, he stressed that their pastry shop will not accommodate “Libreng Cake sa Quim’s Cake” event which is said to be on June 30, 2016.

He also noted that those who would like to avail the free cake sample must that those who wanted to try their delicious recipe must like their FB page and reserve a slot by sending your name, age, address and contact number at [email protected].

Duterte has dominated in the May 9, 2016 presidential election with more than 15 million votes. He ruled against his fellow candidates; administration party standard-bearer Mar Roxas, Sen. Grace Poe, Vice President Jejomar Binay and Se. Miriam Defensor-Santiago.

In the vice presidential race, Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo leads with 13,970,240 votes against Bongbong Marcos who earned 13,746,745 votes based upon the data of COMELEC-GMA Mirror Server as of 8:44 of May 12, 2016.
