The Traslacion began in the early morning, around 4:45 AM, when millions of devotees gathered at Quirino Grandstand to offer their prayers and gratitude to the Black Nazarene. The immense crowd of devotees and believers, estimated to be around 1.3 million, paid tribute to the kingdom of faith of the Filipinos, reflecting on the sheer number of people attending the procession.
The Black Nazarene’s approximately 15-hour journey featured devotees offering their prayers and thanksgiving. Many of them traveled from distant places to join the traditional procession, even though some parts of the country were affected by inclement weather. Despite the challenges, the hope and devotion of the devotees to the Black Nazarene endure.
After the Traslacion around 7:44 PM, Quiapo Church conducted a thorough study of the number of devotees who participated in the procession. It included millions of devotees from various parts of the country, emphasizing the careful attention and appreciation for the significance of faith in their hearts.
