Lenovo Filed A Design Patent For Its Reverse Notch Smartphone

Lenovo recently filed a design patent with China’s National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) for its reverse notch smartphone.

This, as Lenovo presented its design patent which will be used for its upcoming Lenovo or Motorola smartphones.

Description of the Design Patent

Based on the photo above, it showed that the punch-hole camera was located on top-left of its display frame. In terms of its rear design, 91mobiles shared various possible designs on the back part of the smartphone — including the different-yet-possible camera modules.

Possible Lenovo or Motorola smartphone?

As per the report, the photos presented above showed how the design would look like on Lenovo or Motorola phones. Based on the photos, the first three designs could be a Lenovo phone, while the last two designs might be the next Moto Z smartphone, which was more likely to be labeled as the Moto Z5.

Other smartphone companies who filed design patents for upcoming smartphones

Aside from Lenovo, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Samsung also filed design patents for its upcoming devices.

Samsung filed a design patent for its upcoming Galaxy Tab with a built-in stand; Huawei filed design patents for its upcoming foldable smartphone with a zoom lens as well as its upcoming smartphone with apull-out display; and Xiaomi filed a design patent for its upcoming smartphone with “twisting” camera.
