This, after Huawei previously filed a patent for two of its upcoming smartphone models having a pull-out display.
The Design Patent
The said design patent, which filed last July 12, 2019 and was approved last April 28, 2020, consists of 16 product images showing Huawei’s upcoming foldable smartphone. Based on the images presented in this link, this smartphone was similar to the Huawei Mate Xs except for its camera module.
As presented in a design patent, the camera module was described as having three circles and one square, in which Huawei didn’t reveal the detailed information as of this writing.
An Addition To Huawei Mate Series?
Though Huawei successfully released the Huawei Mate X and the Huawei Mate Xs, the smartphone company might unveil these design patents as one of the upcoming Mate series — the foldable smartphone and a smartphone with a pull-out display.
