PhilHealth Regional VP Receives “Girl Dressed In Nothing” For Office Party
PHILHEALTH REGIONAL VP – Paolo Johann Perez, PhilHealth’s Regional Vice President of Region IV-B was shown receiving a “girl dressed in nothing” as a birthday gift during an office party.
As the probe into PhilHealth’s alleged anomalies continued, Senator Richard Gordon showed evidence of one of the alleged members of the PhilHealth Mafia getting a “sexy show”.
Gordon presented the video during an online press conference to bring forth findings of the Senate’s investigations. In the video, you could see a woman dancing provocatively for Perez in his office as his staff cheered on.
As such, Gordon tagged the video as an episode of Perez’s “office nightclub”. According to an article from ABS-CBN, the committee report on the presented evidence read:
On his birthday, Perez received a gift, an enormous box, in his office. A girl, dressed in nothing but her underwear, danced and gyrated provocatively in front of Perez..
Perez enjoyed the performance and was seen smiling in the video. He did not prevent the incident, or report and issue any reprimand to the employees who brought the girl
As a response, Perez said that it was a surprise part which caught him off-guard. Furthermore, he stressed that there was no nude dancers. Instead, the Regional VP stressed that the woman was merely a performer.
Perez is tagged as one of eight members of the alleged “PhilHealth Mafia” who had connections to powerful government officials. Moreover, their influence was so allegedly potent that they could prompt the removal of PhilHealth presidents.
