Ilagan City Back To ECQ As Community Transmissions Continue rising

ILAGAN CITY BACK TO ECQ – Following its 10 day modified community quarantine, Ilagan City has been placed under stricter quarantine protocols.

Ilagan previously had a MECQ from October 6 to 16. However, infections and community transmissions continued rising. As such, the local government of Ilagan imposed an ECQ beginning at 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 16.

Currently, the city has documented a total of 331 coronavirus cases across 55 of its 91 barangays. Additionally, the ECQ is expected to end at 8:00 p.m on October 30.

With stricter quarantine protocols imposed, strict home quarantine will be observed amongst all households. Along with this, residents’ movements would be strictly monitored and limited to only buying essentials such as food and medicine.

Furthermore, mass gatherings would be strictly prohibited except for government services. Likewise, authorized humanitarian actives such as relief drives would also be allowed.

Public transportation shall also be suspended along with a liquor ban. There would also be a curfew starting from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

AN ORDER PLACING THE ENTIRE CITY OF ILAGAN, ISABELA UNDER ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE (ECQ) FROM 8PM OCTOBER 16 UNTIL 8PM OCTOBER 30, 2020, PROVIDING GUIDELINES THEREOF.
