President Duterte has been saying that he will make unified emergency response number just like what he did in Davao City being a mayor.

In the description of the video posted in the Facebook page of 911 Philippines, the Bureau pointed out that it is ready to respond “disaster and Emergency like Fire, Typhoon, Earthquake, Landslides, Tsunami, Flood, Terrorist attack, Civil disturbance, Riot control, Search and rescue, Vehicular accident, and other Emergency.”

The said video was shot using a drone wherein it can be seen that there are many fire trucks positioned around the Quezon City Memorial Circle monument.

Accompanied by a modern upbeat music, the trucks then fired water with different colorful making it look breath-taking.

The said 911 hotline would be launched in August 2016 covering the whole Philippines.
Now, netizens have shared their excitement and wonder of the new emergency hotline on their comments. Some thanked Duterte for the centralized system.

But, others have proved that the said video was actually taken before, last February 2016.

That means, the acquisition of the trucks and equipment are under former DILG secretary Mar Roxas and under former President Noynoy Aquino.

People still stood that without the centralized system, these equipment would be useless.

911 would be the new emergency hotline for the whole Philippines starting August 2016. People behind the centralized system also urged the public to avoid doing pranks over the said hotline.

Duterte advised DILG secretary Ismael Sueno to make the hotline free of charge for all. Still, there are rumors saying that there is a 5-peso charge intended to prevent prank calls.
