Wow Dick Gordon No Votes from Motorcycle Riders Due to Doble Plaka Law
Reelectionist Senator Wow Dick Gordon gets zero votes from motorcycle riders due to his previous “Doble Plaka Law”.
Senator Dick Gordon, who is seeking reelection, is unlikely to be elected to the Senate, according to an unofficial vote count this morning. Based on the 2:39 p.m. record, Gordon received 8,246,954 votes out of 97.68 percent of the vote.
The senator is currently ranked 22nd in the Senate race, and he will need six million votes to qualify for the Magic 12. Several times during the campaign, President Rodrigo Duterte attacked Gordon for allegedly having a backlog with the government.
Duterte said he will urge the Ombudsman to investigate reelectionist senator Richard Gordon for alleged financial mismanagement while serving as chairman of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA). Under Gordon’s leadership, the Commission on Audit (COA) issued a notice of disallowance for PHP140 million to SBMA, but the senator allegedly pocketed PHP86 million, according to Duterte.
Gordon also lost to the riders because he is said to be the creator of the ‘Double Plaka Law.’ Before the election, numerous supporters booed Gordon as he entered the stage and showed his true colors during a campaign rally.
Senatorial candidate Dick Gordon was recently trending after the entire pipol audience at Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan’s last people’s rally in Batangas heard his real shout to one of the staff and volunteers. According to a video circulating on social media, they appeared angry and resentful of the organizers’ restricted time to expose their goals and platform to those attending the campaign rallies.
