Senator Alan Cayetano aired out his opinion on the setting of Libingan ng mga Bayani as the resting place of Marcos Sr.
ALAN CAYETANO – Despite being running mates during the 2016 election, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and President Rodrigo Roa Duterte have different opinions on the Marcos issue.
Way back during the election campaign, President Duterte vowed that he will allow the former dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. to be laid down at Libingan ng mga Bayani in case he wins the post.
On the other side, recently reported in Inquirer, the President’s running mate, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, is strongly against the move as he justifies it with certain reasons.
Senator Cayetano recognized the legal reasons of President Duterte as the 71-year-old President has once justified it that Marcos Sr. is entitled to be laid down at Libingan ng mga Bayani for he was a soldier.
