Alan Purisima Under Arrest By Sandiganbayan 6th Division
Sandiganbayan 6th Division wants to arrest the former PNP chief Alan Purisima and his fellow was accused in relation to the graft charges filed against them for allegedly anomalous courier service contract.
Also the former officials of the PNP, former Director Gil Meneses, Chief Supts. Napoleon Estilles, Allan Parreño, Melchor Reyes, Ford Tuazon and the officials of Werfast Documentary Agency Inc., Mario Juan, Salud Bautista, Enrique Valerie, Lorna Perena and Juliana Pasia, was included in the issued warrant of arrest.
In the report of Philstar, Raul Petrasanta, Eduardo Acieto, Lenbell Fabia, Sonia Calixto, Nelson Bautista and Ricardo Zapata Jr. are the first to set a bail.
Reading of indictment to the accused was set on July 20, 8:30 in the morning.
The case stemmed in entering the contract of PNP in Werfast for a mandatory courier service of the licensed gun.
The Werfast demanded P190 for Metro Manila and P290 outside of Metro Manila for their service.
Ombudsman insisted that the similar service provided by other companies in Metro Manila will cost only P90.
Giving a contract in Werfast is also questionable which does not undergo in public bidding. Allegedly, this is not also registered when the contract was given last May 2011 besides there’s an absence in the track record.
