Actress-turned-politician Alma Moreno went emotional as she recalled her social media trauma. Moreno ran for the senator under the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) party and currently ranked 24 with more than 2 million votes.

The outgoing Parañaque City councilor was repeatedly mocked through the Twitter account @LovelinessAlm which started after her viral interview with Karen Davila on ANC.
In an interview with “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” Moreno said that she had a bad experience on social media, especially on Twitter because of the now suspended account.
Moreno said that she doesn’t mind the criticism, but she doesn’t like it when her children are being affected.
“Kung ako lang, kaya ko. Pero kapag naapektuhan na ‘yong anak ko, lalo na si Wyn Wyn,: she said.
The 56-year-old councilor also admitted that she still needs to learn a lot, especially on politics. But she reiterated that she would have not been a councilor for 9 years if she doesn’t know anything in her field.
“Siguro may mga bagay na mahina ako, na dapat pag-aralan ko. Ingles? Inaamin ko hindi ako ganoon kagaling,” she said.
Alma Moreno also said that she has no hard feelings with Karen Davila, adding that the interview has encourage her to strive more.
However, after the interview, she doubted her abilities in answering interview questions as she is afraid to commit mistakes again.
“May gustong mag-interview sa akin, pero doon na ako natakot. Kasi baka ‘yong sabihin ko mali nanaman e,” she said,
