Duterte Supporters React to Woman’s FB Post.
Cyber-bullying intensified as election comes near.
With all the opinions coming out online and reading the harsh comments, it is already a bit scary to post your opinion especially about elections knowing that a lot of people especially avid political supporters would lay down their mat on your posts.
Ayeen Karunungan experienced this after posting that she would actively campaign against Rodrigo Duterte. Her posts became viral as it received numerous reactions and comments.
However after being ‘bullied’ following her post against one of the presidential bets, she is hitting back hard at the cyberbullies for the threats she had since been receiving.
Environmental advocate Karunungan said on her new post yesterday that she already filed police reports regarding the threats she had been receiving online because of her prior post.
“I am no longer taking this lightly. I have filed a police report yesterday. Oo, naka-blotter lahat nang taong nagbanta sa akin ng rape at pagpatay sakin,” she wrote.
Karunungan was posted a declaration accompanying by an image inflicting that the presidential runner is a “lazy choice” writing that no once man solve the problem and that discipline comes from ourselves.
“It takes everyone to build a nation. Killing should not be an option.” she said.
Her post was shared nearly 4, 000 times while it gained numerous reactions. While some commented in a polite manner, others slammed her for her belief.
And as Karunungan discovered that her messenger prevented her from seeing numerous messages, she later discovered more threatening messages sent to her.
She posted the screenshots online, however soon found out that she have been reported and has been blocked online.
After 24 hours, She logged in again and uploaded few more screenshots but was blocked again for three days.
Among the screenshots say “Ma-rape k asana” and “Ma-massacre sana pamilya mo.”
However, she also revealed that lots of people messaged her including those of the Duterte’s supporters saying sorry.
