Archie Alemania apologizes for “insensitive joke” about Mar Roxas.
Comedian-actor Archie Alemania admitted that he is being bashed on the social media after posting a photo with presidential candidate Mar Roxas on Instagram. He said that he has no intentions to hurt any one with his post.
On Sunday, the “Ang Tanging Ina” actor posted a selfie photo with Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas on the image and video-sharing site. In the caption, he wrote that the politician was a huge supporter of presidential candidate Rodrigo Duterte.
“May nagpa picture sakin sobrang di* hard supporter ni DUTERTE!!! Good choice bro! Nakalimutan ko itong name nya nung magkausap kami. Kita kits nalang sa rally ni Digong,” he wrote.
In his twitter account, Alemania said that many people are bashing him because of the post. But, he stressed that he has no intentions to insult others with the photo. He has already apologized regarding the “insensitive joke.”
“Dami nagbash sakin sa post ko. Im just makulit at my captions, di ko intensyon mambastos ng kapwa,” he said.
His followers also reminded him to be more sensitive and careful with his jokes at might hurt other people.
Archie Alemania has been an active supporter of the Davao City Mayor. While he is supporting Duterte, the actor endorses Camarines Sur representative Leni Robredo for Vice President.
Duterte’s running mate is Senator Alan Cayetano while Roxas is running with Robredo as the administration bets. These two presidentiables have been involved in several verbal battles since the election period started.
