Around 11,000 Filipino workers in Saudi Arabia are currently jobless now and are in great need of help. Their wives seek for help as their husbands could not go home.
Overseas Filipino Workers abroad are numerous in number. They are the ones who went out of their comfort zones, took chances in other nations, and worked in another time zones to be able to provide the needs of their families.
In one report, Vice President Leni Robredo even tagged them as ‘heroes’. The Vice President wished to come up with offices nationwide that would cater their needs.
Timely to that response if it would be pursued is the pleading for help of the wives of the OFWs in Saudi Arabia. Recently reported in GMA News Online, wives of Filipino workers in the said country were in tears as they seek for refuge.
