Arresting illegal recruiters cash reward will be P50, 000 for any citizen who can give accurate information that can lead to arrest the suspects.
On Wednesday (August 24, 2016) Labor Secretary Silvestro Bello III said that illegal recruitment must be stopped and all that is involved with this crime. “Anyone who can give information that can lead the arrest of illegal recruiters will be given a P50, 000 cash reward.
The cash that will come from the associates of the private recruitment agency will be the reward. They are hoping that this bounty offers can motivate the citizens to help the authorities to arrest the illegal recruiters.
“The cash reward came from a private sector and not to the government,” Bello said. The hotline of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will be activated soon for any report regarding the illegal recruitment activities. DOLE offices will validate all the report given according to the Labor secretary.
