3 Guards of Subdivision Where SUV Driver Lives Faces Obstruction of Justice
Authorities charged the three (3) security guards of the subdivision where the SUV driver who rammed a guard in Mandaluyong resides.
Three security guards of a subdivision thought to be where the SUV driver who ran into a security guard in Mandaluyong on Sunday lives have been charged with obstructing justice by police. The guards allegedly prevented the cops from entering the subdivision, according to the earlier article.
While executing a vigorous pursuit operation against the hit-and-run offender, the guards of the subdivision where the suspect lives got involved. The police were allegedly barred by the subdivision’s security officials, according to a statement released by the police.
As a result, the authorities were forced to charge the guards with ‘obstruction of justice.’ According to Mandaluyong City Police chief P/Col. Gauvin Mel Unos, the complaint was filed with the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
“Nasampahan na po ng kaso mga security guards kaninang umaga ng obstruction of justice. Tatlo po. Kasama dun ang security officer,” said Unos in a message sent to GMA News.
The driver of the SUV vehicle had already been charged with frustrated murder by police. A white SUV, described as a Toyota RAV-4, collided with a security guard patrolling and ran over it when it fell to the ground, and then fled based on the video.
