Binay on Ground Campaign.
For presidential runners, what could prove persistence in encouraging people to vote? For Vice President Jejomar Binay who is among the top contenders in this year’s presidential election, a tan line on his wrist proves his persistence in campaign for his win.
Teased with his skin color, Binay proves there is more to him especially in his eagerness to win showing off to reporters the result of his ground campaigning.
Ground campaigning involve touring around barangays surviving the heat of the sun just to get closer into the communities, and the vice president don’t let this pass to show his supporters how willing he is to be the next president.
Despite being the oldest among the presidential candidates, he proves that he is the youngest when it comes to stamina and wooing the citizens.
The United Nationalist Alliance standard-bearer showed off a tan line on his wrist which he got from campaigning and traveling around the country.
Binay told reporters that even at night he would campaign unlike his opponents in the race who would only do it an hour or just half the day.
Sources close to him even relayed that the Vice President would register up to 30, 000 steps a day in his pedometer.
Binay’s campaign routine involves motorcades and rallies that would last for more than 12 hours on some days.
Promoting himself amid criticism, Binay has even used the term “nognog” as a candidate who will become the champion of the masses.
Now the vice president is doubling his effort through ground campaigning after dropping to third place in the election surveys.
While so, earlier he had campaigned against opponent Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who led the recent survey through a video saying that if he wins, people will regret it because of his metal fist and injustice.
