Joceleo Bello, on behalf of the Criminology interns from Bago City College, presented the Star Kawani Spot Awards today, January 12. The recipients of this recognition are Robert King Gonzales, Jonas Andrei Garcenila, Emer Jan Bancal, and Edmar Flores. This award is an acknowledgment from the city government for their day-to-day efforts, serving as a special contribution to the successful execution of their duties.
The criminology interns gained praise on social media after helping a tired elderly woman sell vegetables in the vicinity of Manuel Y. Torres Memorial Coliseum and Cultural Center around 4:30 p.m. yesterday.
“In the aim to make our city the most client-friendly LGU, your excellent and admirable effort resulting in client satisfaction translates to the promotion of the city government’s core value of love of God and country,” states the certificate given to them.
During their visit to Mayor Nicholas Yulo’s office this afternoon, they were commended for exemplifying kindness and compassion towards others. Mayor Yulo emphasized the importance of their contribution not only in the field of criminology but also in advocating for humanity in their community.
