Cynthia Patag slams crass behavior of alleged supporters of Duterte.
Former stage actress and showbiz personality Cynthia Patag lambasted “crass” behavior of alleged supporters of presumptive President-elect Rodrigo Duterte.
The 50-year-old former actress took to social networking site Facebook to slam alleged supporters of the soon-to-be-proclaimed 16th President of the Republic of the Philippines who posted a photo of her next to Duterte with “several crass insults”.
According to her, the account attributed to her which stated such statement against the upcoming president was “blatantly fake account”. It was posted on FB page “MAYOR DUTERTE FOR PRESIDENT”.
Here’s the statement of Cynthia Patag:
“Good morning, palangganas! Last night, two vicious, malicious, low lives, posted my Cynthia J. Patag photo next to several crass insults against Pres. Elect Duterte, which they attributed to me. It was a blatantly fake account, posted on the “MAYOR DUTERTE FOR PRESIDENT” page.
I don’t speak, nor write like a vociferous semi-literate unlike those two malevolent savages who posted the fraudulent hate posts. Yet the haters went into a frenzy, pilloried me mercilessly.
Duterte has already ordered his frothing hyenas to STOP THE HATE on social media. Wala rin.
I’ll hold that “I support you, President Elect Duterte” post for awhile.”
Cynthia Patag’s post generated numerous reaction from the netizens.
Meanwhile, in the latest partial and unofficial tally of COMELEC, Duterte is still dominating the presidential race with more than 15 million votes.
Other candidates; former DILG secretary Mar Roxas, Sen. Grace Poe and Vice President Jejomar have already conceded on the presidential election which was simultaneously held in the country last May 9, 2016 in more than 90,000 polling centers nationwide.
