Makati City Mayor Abby Binay ordered the closure of the digital billboard that showed a pornographic video along Gil Puyat and Makati Avenues.
On Tuesday afternoon, March 20, a digital billboard at the corner of Gil Puyat and Makati Avenues caught the attention of several commuters as it showed a pornographic video, instead of the usual advertisement videos.
A netizen uploaded it on Facebook and it has already gone viral. It was a video of a couple having sexual intercourse.
In a previous report, it was said that the operator might viewed the porn film in a computer which was accidentally revealed on the billboard.
After several hours since it was publicized, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay ordered the closure of the said digital billboard, based on the article published in CNN Philippines.
Morning of Wednesday, March 21, through the official Facebook Page of the city, the local government announced that Binay “ordered the owner of the billboard to cease and desist from operations last night”.

With that order from the Makati City Mayor, the post said that the operator of the said digital billboard immediately complied.
In addition, Mayor Abby Binay also”ordered an immediate investigation of the incident to determine the cause and liabilities of those concerned”.
The billboard will remain closed as the investigation is still ongoing.
Netizen Mulong Sermonia posted the 33-second video on his Facebook account, however it was not sure how long the porn video was playing before the netizen and his companion noticed it, based on the article.
The said netizen, as an information technology expert said that the operator might be using Team Viewer application and might have accidentally monitored the computer which was playing a porn video.
