Drug-Free Workplace Launch to Mining Firms
A drug-free workplace is launch to all mining firms even though President Duterte was not agreeing when it comes to mining activities. He pursues his constant campaign against illegal drugs with his contrary ally in Caraga region.
Dulmar Raagas President of Member-firms of the Chamber of Mines-Caraga Region Inc. (CMCRI) said that workers best interest is in their initiative. The company aims this year that the work place will be 100 percent drug free on the region.
The mining company has more than 20,000 miners and the president of the group recognize the popularity of drug use can increase their productivity according to some workers.
He also said that in opposition of the statement illegal drugs is the reason why employees have behavioral problems, being tardy, more prone to accidents, and even decrease in productivity.
