Zamboanga Del Norte Hit by 3.2 Magnitude Earthquake
EARTHQUAKE – A quake with a magnitude of 3.2 recently hit Zamboanga Del Norte according to the bulletin released by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).

In the Philippines, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or more commonly called Phivolcs is the one in-charged of monitoring the natural occurrences in all the parts of the country.
Among the natural events that usually happen every day are earthquakes. Daily, several quakes hit the different parts of the country. Recently, Phivolcs released a bulletin about a quake in Zamboanga Del Norte.
Based on the information bulletin released by Phivolcs, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 hit a part of Zamboanga Del Norte today, March 19,
The quake was located at 08.48 North, 122.64 East – 040 km North 04° West of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. The 3.2 magnitude quake had a 005 km. depth of focus.
Based on the bulletin released by the agency, the 3.2 magnitude earthquake that hit Zamboanga del Norte today, March 19, 2019, was tectonic in origin.
According to Phivolcs, no aftershock or damage caused by the quake is expected. We’ll keep you posted for further updates.
