Erap Orders Arrest Public Officials And Policemen Involved In Drugs
Mayor Joseph Estrada or Erap orders to arrest the policemen and government officials in Manila alleged involved in drugs.
Estrada ordered police director Senior Superintendent Joel Coronel to immediately conduct an operation to arrest the 16 high-value targets (HVTs), according to the statement released by Manila Police District (MPD).
National government offices, barangay, city hall, and public servants from Philippine National Police (PNP) are included in 16 HVT’s according to Coronel. He also said that those appointed and elected officials are traffickers, coddlers, protectors, and drug users.
Coronel also said that the suspects have been already monitored by the authorities they are only waiting for a solid proof and evidence to conduct an operation such as neutralization, entrapment, or arrest. The information about the suspects was given by arrested drug suspects at Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and MPD’s Anti-Illegal Drugs Division.
