In an Announcement made today Friday, the Three Largest Mall Operators in the Country Said They Will Adjust Their Operating Hours Starting November 13 Until the End of the Christmas Holiday Season. A significant part of the Christmas season involves shopping for gifts and visiting malls, bringing joy to many families.
According to Chrissy Roa, the marketing and communications head of Ayala Malls, their operations will start at 11 a.m. and end at 11 p.m. This will provide more extended hours for shopping and various activities in their malls.
On the other hand, SM Malls will also have the same operating hours, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. However, they are considering the possibility of extending their hours as Christmas approaches. According to Jocelyn Clarino, the senior assistant vice president for operations at SM North Edsa, they may open until midnight as Christmas draws nearer. This is to give more opportunities for shoppers to find gifts and make their Christmas more meaningful.
Meanwhile, Robinsons Malls will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. However, they are also considering an hour’s extension, until 11 p.m., once more people receive their Christmas bonuses. According to Myron Yao, the operations director of Robinsons Malls, this is for the convenience of their shoppers.
Overall, the change in mall operating hours allows for more time for shopping and engaging in activities during the Christmas season. This is great news for shoppers who want to prepare for a joyful and colorful Christmas with their families and friends. Don’t forget to follow health and safety protocols while at the mall for everyone’s safety.
