Following the viral controversy involving former COMELEC Commissioner Atty. Rowena Guanzon’s heated confrontation at Rockwell Mall, Atty. Jesus Falcis has weighed in, suggesting the incident is part of a pattern of behavior. In a Facebook post, Falcis shared an anecdote from an alleged “tweety bird” insider, indicating that Guanzon’s “scandalous outburst daw nya sa Rockwell is not an isolated case. It’s not the first time she has shouted and demeaned other people publicly.”

Falcis recounted an alleged incident that took place around 2019 or 2020 while Guanzon was still an incumbent COMELEC Commissioner. Upon arriving at NAIA, Guanzon reportedly intended to file a complaint against an airport security personnel she claimed was “bastos or rude to her.”
However, when the Head of Security and Guanzon’s own staff investigated the matter, Falcis claims the account was reversed. He stated that “imbes na si Guanzon yung binastos, si Guanzon yung nambastos.”
Falcis detailed the alleged true story: A female airport security guard, who was pregnant at the time, recognized Guanzon, a frequent VIP traveler, going in the wrong direction within NAIA. The guard reportedly rushed to redirect Guanzon and “lightly tapped or tinapik si Guanzon (nakatalikod sya) sa arms or shoulder area to inform Guanzon.”
Falcis claims that Guanzon reacted aggressively, turning around and immediately shouting: “Why are you touching me? Don’t you know who I am?!” Following the verbal assault, Guanzon allegedly threw a small object or “binato na small object or gamit si Guanzon against the lady guard (who was pregnant at that time).”
The narrative concludes with an alleged admission from Guanzon’s own staff. Falcis claims that upon hearing the security office’s version, the staff member responded with something along the lines of “Ahhh ganun ba? I won’t be surprised. Sorry sa abala.”
Atty. Falcis used this historical context to advise the public to view Guanzon’s current explanation for the Rockwell outburst with skepticism. He stressed: “So etong side of the story ni Rowena Guanzon tungkol sa Rockwell outburst nya should be taken with a grain of salt. Wag maniwala hook, line, and sinker sa version niya because this is not the first time this has happened and not the first time she has given a very different and unrealistic version of the story.”
Falcis concluded his post with a further warning, advising people against riding an elevator with her: “Pag nakita nyo si Guanzon sa elevator, wag kayo sasabay sa kanya ah. Ayaw nya yan. Bawal sumakay sa elevator kasabay nya — lalo na nuong COMELEC Commissioner pa siya.” He expressed fear of such a person, sarcastically noting, “Kelangan naka Rolex or Gucci ka muna para nde ka murahin ng P.I. at bago ka tratuhing tao.”
