Local Government Of Manila Offers Free Funeral For The Less Fortunate People
Free funeral worth P90 million were offered by the local government of Manila to its less fortunate residents and also Extra Judicial Killing (EJK) victims.
Columbarium and apartment worth P90 million were offered by the local government of Manila for the free funeral of poor residents of the city. A total of 4, 088 tomb for the urn of ashes and 1, 218 graves were contained by the said 4 stories columbarium in Manila North Cemetery.
Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada said that the local government will furnish consumers with free burial, even the slain suspects of illegal drugs can be buried at the free cemetery as long as residents of Manila.
Estrada explained that the local government of Manila has decided to build a columbarium to conserve space at the cemetery. The mayor also said that the capacity of Manila North Cemetery was already reached its limit.
