Holy Week 2025 Mall Hours: Schedule for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday

April 13, 2025—Manila, Philippines—As the nation prepares for Holy Week, several major mall operators have released their operating schedules for Maundy Thursday (April 17) and Good Friday (April 18). While many establishments traditionally close for these solemn days, select malls will remain open to serve shoppers and travelers during the holiday.

2025 Mall Schedules

Ayala Malls

Several Ayala Malls will continue operating on both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, though on adjusted schedules:

Open on Maundy Thursday, April 17:

  • UP Town Center: 10 AM – 9 PM
  • Shops at Serendra: 9 AM – 9 PM
  • Ayala Malls Solenad: 11 AM – 9 PM
  • Ayala Malls Vermosa: 10 AM – 9 PM
  • Ayala Malls Serin: 10 AM – 8 PM
  • Ayala Malls Harbor Point: 10 AM – 8 PM

Open on Good Friday, April 18:

  • Ayala Malls Solenad: 11 AM – 9 PM
  • Ayala Malls Vermosa: 10 AM – 9 PM
  • Ayala Malls Serin: 10 AM – 8 PM
  • Ayala Malls Harbor Point: 10 AM – 8 PM

Ayala Malls has confirmed that regular mall hours will resume on Black Saturday, April 19.

Robinsons Malls

Several Robinsons Malls across the country will also remain open, especially in provinces where foot traffic tends to increase during the long weekend.

Open on Maundy Thursday, April 17: Branches in Antipolo, Angeles, Gapan, Ilocos, La Union, Luisita, Malolos, Pangasinan, Santiago, Starmills, Tuguegarao, Dasmariñas, Galleria South, General Trias, Lipa, Naga, Palawan, Tagaytay, and Iligan will operate from 9 or 10 AM until 9 or 10 PM.
Cybergate Bacolod will remain open 24 hours.

Open on Good Friday, April 18: Only selected branches will be open, including:

  • Robinsons La Union: 9 AM – 9 PM
  • Robinsons Luisita: 10 AM – 9 PM
  • Robinsons Tagaytay: 9 AM – 9 PM
  • Cybergate Bacolod: Open 24 hours

Ortigas Malls—including Greenhills (GH Mall), Estancia, Tiendesitas, and The Strip at Circulo Verde—will close on both Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.

SM Supermalls

According to SM’s official website, significant branches such as SM City North Edsa, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, SM Fairview, SM City San Jose del Monte, and SM Manila will be closed on April 17 and 18 in observance of the Holy Week.
