Filipino Became A Chef In A Famous Dubai Hotel
James Diño, a 24-year old Filipino works hard to become a chef in a famous hotel in Dubai and to be an apprentice of one of the world’s famous chef.
James and his brother become an orphan at their young age when they parents died. To sustain their everyday needs, they enter different jobs to support themselves such as being a bakery employee until James was assigned in the production department of the bakery.
“Tuloy foundation” calls the one who’s taking care of James in the bakery. At first, James and his brother don’t want to be under the custody of the foundation and find it difficult to live in Tuloy. In the foundation, they were disciplined by having a morning exercise, prayer, study period, and different household chores assigned to everyone.
Fr. Marciano “Rocky” Evangelista, President and Founder, Tuloy Foundation have seen a potential though James’ cooking, so James was chosen to study at the Alain Ducasse Institute in Enderun college. Alain Ducasse is known as a great chef around the world because of his extraordinary delicacies.
