Giant Sinkhole In Japan Filled And Restored In Just 2 Days
The giant sinkhole in Japan last November 08, 2016 which swallowed large section of Fukuoka street was filled and repaired in just two days.
Five-lane streets near the railway station in Fukuoka, Japan was swallowed by a 30-meter sinkhole that causes fear to its residents. There are two separate holes occurred in Japan as shown in a TV footage. It opened up the support and columns of the nearby buildings and the traffic intersections.
The 30-meter sinkhole that swallowed the streets in the middle of Japan City was filled and repaired in just two days. The hole was roughly half the size of an Olympic swimming pool. Japan’s government made a public apology to its residents and it was followed by round-the-clock workmanship.
The repair of the hole took 6, 200 cubic meters of sand and cement to fill the holes occurred on the streets of Japan. Gas, electricity, and water supplies were also repaired, the mayor also said that the road was now 30 times stronger than before and assured that the same incident will not happen again.
