Jay Sonza Reveals On His Post Who Benefited On Rappler’s Downfall

Jay Sonza revealed his fearless opinion regarding the true beneficiaries of the downfall of Rappler and who should be blamed about the revocation of its registration

Veteran journalist Jay Sonza revealed on his recent Facebook post who are the real entities who felt happy regarding the downfall of social news website Rappler.

According to the former TV host and news presenter, there are those who benefited the mischief that is happening to the news site right now, as its license was previously revoked by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

On Sonza’s post, he enumerated who are really ecstatic to see the fall of Rappler CEO Maria Ressa and the rest of the people who are behind the social news website.

Jay Sonza’s list of alleged beneficiary on Rappler’s downfall:

1. Sunvar,Dunkin Dounut, Inquirer (Prieto & Rufino)
2. Philippine Airlines (Lucio Tan)
3. Benpress Holdings/ABS-CBN (Lopez Group)
4. Hacienda Luisita (Cojuangco & Aquino)
5. Cosmos Bottling Company
6. At marami pang Oligarch

In addition, the veteran journalist said that it is because every time that the reporters of Rappler ask questions to the President, they annoy Duterte to the point that he will be challenged to do something against those entities who reign in the country.

Sonza even encouraged his followers to review the previous interviews of Rappler to the President because according to him, it will prove that his conclusion has a basis.

Furthermore, the former TV host also revealed on his previous post who he thinks must be held liable to why SEC revoked the registration of Rappler.

He said that former President Cory Aquino, Hilario Davide, Christian Monsod and all who authored and people involved in 1987 Constitution should be blamed for the news website’s downfall.

For the prominent news anchor, Maria Ressa and the rest of the people in Rappler are blaming the wrong people and the wrong administration for what happened to them, based on his post.
