Veteran broadcaster Jay Sonza slams the claim of former President Benigno Aquino III that he is nothing to with the issue of Dengvaxia.
The administration of former Philippine President Benigno ‘Noynoy’ Aquino III is being grilled now in the Senate due to the issue about Dengvaxia.
As the investigation goes on, there are already a lot of other issues that surfaced and one of those is the responsibility being put to the shoulder of PNoy for allowing this thing to happen.
On the other hand, the former President reportedly denied his involvement with the said issue, based on the article published in Pinoy Thinking.
The former elected public official said that he has nothing to do with it.
With regards to this, veteran broadcaster Jay Sonza reacted negatively to the denial of PNoy.
On his recent Facebook post, the former ‘TV Patrol’ news anchor slammed the said declaration of Aquino.
“Nahuhuli ang isda sa bibig,” Sonza started his rebuttal statement against PNoy with this.
He also iterated that since it was already told by DBM Sec. Abad that it was the fund from DOH which was used to purchase the Dengvaxia vaccine, then there was a recommendation from Abad and DOH Sec. Garin, that time.
In line with that premise, the veteran journalist said “only the president has the final authority for realigning and spending budgetary savings”.
With this, Sonza said that Aquino has no right to deny and said that he is nothing to do with it.
“Hindi siya maaring maghugas kamay sa usaping ito. Huling huli ang mga hinayupak,” Jay Sonza said on his post.
