Jim Paredes Slams Robin Padilla and Called His Questions against PNoy “Stup*d”
JIM PAREDES – Controversial singer slammed Robin Padilla and called her questions to former President Benigno Aquino III (PNoy) stup*d.
After questioning former President Noynoy Aquino’s accomplishments, Jim Paredes criticized the number one senator in this race. Paredes can be seen on Twitter, labeling Padilla’s questions “stup*d,” according to former presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda.
“We are in deep trouble when an incoming senator asks a stup*d question like that,” Paredes said.
On the other hand, Lacierda described what Aquino is said to have done, such as raising the number of call centers in the Philippines and increasing the number of classrooms, chairs, and books in schools. It also lauded Aquino for continuing previous President Gloria Macapagal-conditional Arroyo’s cash transfer program, which is said to have aided millions of Filipino families.
“Yung Conditional Cash Transfer Program, na monitor ang school attendance mga bata at dahil doon, maraming bata ang pumapasok sa paaralan. Syanga pala, programa yan ni GMA na merun 80,000 families. Pinagpatuloy ni PNoy & bago sya natapos ay tila may 4.2 Milyon families nakinabang.” said Lacierda.
He also noted the contentious K to 12 Program, which has aided overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in finding work in other countries. Unbeknownst to many, many countries, particularly in Europe, require that K to 12 be the educational system of the country in order to hire foreign workers; otherwise, they will not hire.
“Yung K to 12 Program nilunsad din ni PNoy yan. Lingid sa marami, ang requirement ng maraming bansa lalo na sa Europa ay kailangan K to 12 ang educational system ng bansang kukunan ng overseas workers or else they wont hire. Dahil doon, patuloy pa rin ang pag hire ng ating OFWs,” Lacierda added.
Lacierda and Paredes were not addressed by Padilla. The actor has previously chastised the former spokeswoman for opposing the federalism that they are advocating.
“ Si Sir Lacierda, ‘yung dating kay PNoy kumontra ‘yan, sinabi niya na bakit daw papalitan ang Saligang Batas eh pwede naman daw gawin ito, eh boss bakit hindi ninyo ginawa noong panahon niyo?” Padilla asked.
“Anim na taon rin naman kayong nanungkuluan, bakit ‘yung mga suggest mo hindi niyo ginawa noong panahon niyo… Sa aking palagay kapag lumipas na ‘yung panahon niyo at kayo’y nanilbihan na at kayo ang pinakasiga at kayo ang humahawak ng imperial Manila noong panahon na ‘yon at ang lahat ng desisyon ang inyo, bakit hindi niyo ginawa ng sinabi ninyo?” he added.
