The alleged illegal recruiter of Joanna Demafelis, Agnes Tuballes, revealed her side of the story regarding the death of the Filipina in Kuwait.
The alleged recruiter of Joanna Demafelis, who was killed in Kuwait, released her official statement regarding the issue linking her to the death of her fellow Filipina.
Agnes Tuballes, who is also an OFW decided to appear before the media just recently to clear her name against all the allegations being thrown to her.
There were those who speculated that Tuballes is an illegal recruiter and that she is partly to be blamed on what happened to Demafelis.
Based on the article published in News 5, Tuballes stated that she just helped the killed Filipina to get out of the country and she referred her to the recruitment agency named Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Agency Global E-Human Resources Inc.

On her statement to the press, Agnes Tuballes strongly iterated that she did not kill Joanna Demafelis but because her photo was released in the news, she was considered as prime suspect to the crime.
She also revealed that even her children were very much affected of the misinformation.
“Hindi ako ang pumatay kay Joanna para ilabas niyo ang picture ko na walang pahintulot,” she said while crying.
Tuballes claims that she experienced bullying on social media as well as her children.
She also expressed her sorry and sympathy to the family of Joanna.

On the other hand, the PNP-CIDG Chief Director Roel Obusan clarified that there is no case being filed to the alleged illegal recruiter.
However, Tuballes and her family will receive protection from CIDG as a precaution to the impending threat that they may be experienced.

Based on the article, it was found out that the recruitment agency which sent Joanna Demafelis to Kuwait has no license to operate anymore since 2016 due to some violations.
Meanwhile, the prime suspect in the killing of the Filipina, Nader Essam Assaf, was already captured last week.
