Joint Military Drills Of China, US To Start In November

While the Philippines is breaking up from the US and getting to know with China, both countries are making friends with each other and are set to hold joint military drills.

The United States of America (USA) and China will hold joint military drills coming November.

Officials from both countries said that the joint military drills will focus on disaster relief.

Wu Qian, the spokesman of the Chinese military, the drills will take place in the Yunnan Province in Southwest China and will include 134 military personnel from the People’s Liberation Army of China and 89 servicemen of the United States.

According to Chinese state news agency, Xinhua, the joint military drills will be held between November 13 to 18.

Wu said, “The scenario of the joint exercise and exchange is professional disaster relief in high-altitude regions. It consists of three phases, namely, academic exchange, command post exercise and live troop exercise”.
