Did Kris Aquino really used the presidential the chopper?
The Kapamilya actress Kris Aquino was slammed for allegedly using the presidential choppers for Liberal Party campaign on Tuesday. This was after several photos of her arriving in Cebu via choppers with presidential seal went viral on social media sites.
The photos was first posted on the Official Facebook page of Dalaguete, Cebu, but it has already been removed. It has received negative comments from the netizens, saying that using of government resources should not be done to campaign for the administration bets.

But according to some people who saw the photo, the photos were not taken in Cebu, but in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental where they attended the inauguration of Solar Powerplant. This was also confirmed by the Office of the President.
In an article published by Memebuster, President Aquino and his sister used only the chopper from San Carlos to Dalaguete. And from there, they traveled on road to reach the town of Argao for Liberal Party’s campaign rally.
According to the article, Kris Aquino is allowed to use the chopper because there is mandation that permits the first family to use the air transport of President.
“President Aquino and Kris Aquino are allowed to use the choppers because the 250th (Presidential) Airlift Wing of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) has the mandate of providing safe and efficient air transport for the President of the Philippines and the First Famil,” the statement reads.
Kris Aquino’s camp has yet to issue any statement regarding the issue. Meanwhile, she is currently campaigning for her brother’s bets Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo.
