Police Chief Harassed Lady Cop Inside Quarters in Davao Oriental Faces Charges
The police chief faces charges after being reported by a lady cop he allegedly harassed in their police quarters in Davao Oriental.
After his female patrolwoman accused him of harassment, a police major in Davao Oriental is facing charges. According to the police report, the suspect is Police Major Warren Damogo Dilem, 35, a Baguio City resident who is stationed in the province.
The crime occurred on June 10 inside the police barracks of the 2nd Davao Oriental Provincial Mobile Force Company (DOPMFC) in Barangay Bagumbayan, Lupon, Davao Oriental, according to Abante’s article. The female officer allegedly went to the barracks with two other people, where Dilem was also present.
Based on the investigation, they drank within the barracks. The victim went to the bathroom to urinate at 2:30 a.m. Dilem was waiting for her when she returned to her room.
The defendant is accused of pushing the victim to the bed and forcing her to have an intimate moment with her. Even a hug was requested by the suspect. Dilem left his chamber when the victim rushed out of his room and reported it to another supervisor.
However, Dilem returned to the victim’s room at 3 a.m. and raped the patrolwoman. Despite his fear, the victim reported the incident to the authorities, and Dilem is now facing prosecution.
