VP Leni Robredo Gives 100 Percent Support To Rodrigo Duterte
Although there is still no formal communication between them, Vice President-elect Leni Robredo declares her 100 percent support to President-elect Rodrigo Duterte.
In fact, Leni Robredo said that after the formal proclamation this Monday, she is willing to set a courtesy visit to Duterte in Davao City, there the next president of the country is temporarily working in his office to accept the greetings, likewise those who applied in the next administration.
“If the proclamation pushes through on Monday, I will find ways to at least pay a courtesy visit to assure him that he has my support,” Robredo said.
In the report of Balita.net, under Liberal Party candidate, Leni Robredo won the official canvassing of Congress which serves as National Board of Canvassers as the new vice president of the country after she outweighed more than 250,000 votes to Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Before the campaign started, Robredo announced that she will bestow her full support whoever will be elected as the next president of the country. “For me, it is but right to assure him that he has my 100 percent support and cooperation,” Robredo said. “That is my obligation to the country, not only to President Duterte. This is our obligation to the people because if we work together, it is the people who would benefit.”
About the position in the cabinet of the mayor, Leni Robredo said, she waived the decision to Rodrigo Duterte though she is more comfortable in the position that directly benefited the poor and unfortunate.
