LTFRB Asked Bus Operators To Keep An Eye For Flying Voters

LTFRB Or Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Asked For Bus Operators To Guard The Flying Voters Carefully

Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board or LTFRB asked yesterday the bus operators to be watchful for the flying voter or voters who travel in some areas to register as a new voter after registering in another place.

LTFRB made a statement to presuade the bus operators to contribute for the assurance of clean elections on May 9.

According to balita.net, LTFRB board member Atty. Ariel Inton cited the case in the past that the politicians depart the flying voters to vote in different polling precinct to manipulate the result of halalan.

The Board will start to give special permit that will be used starting from May 7 until 11 to provide for the provincial bus and not for the benefit of the political candidates.

“Special permits will be issued to provide more modes of transport to voters and not for personal gains of political candidates,” stressed by Inton.
