Man With COVID-19 Attends Church Service, Spreads Virus Across 5 Counties

MAN WITH COVID-19 ATTENDS CHURCH – A 56-year-old man infected with the new coronavirus attended a church service in Ohio leading to the infection of 91 others.

A similar incident happened during the early days of the virus in South Korea. A single member of the church unaware she had the virus caused 80% of the infections in her city. Sadly, if it can happen in a progressive country like South Korea, it could happen anywhere.

This was what Governor Mike DeWine emphasized on his Facebook page detailing how the virus “spread like wildfire” in Ohio. Furthermore, he warned the public that it only takes 1 person to cause a “tremendous” spread of the deadly disease.

According to an article from NBC, the governor stated:

I continue to encourage everyone to wear masks and social distance whenever you gather — including at worship services“. Unfortunately, the Governor himself admitted to testing positive for the virus.

As per the article, 53 people in the service were infected with the virus. But, they also spread the virus to at least one other person based on the graph shown by Governor DeWine.

The Governor added:

None of us want to stay away from our families and of course, it’s natural to want to show affection when you see them“.

Still, despite the evidence presented by the Governor to warn the public about the disease, some netizens from Ohio continued to bash the governor for their stance on COVID-19. Meanwhile, others see his post as an attack toward the church.
