Manny Pacquiao Claims Chaos May Spark if Bongbong Marcos, Leni Robredo Wins
Senator Manny Pacquiao warned the public that chaos may spark if one of his presidential contenders Bongbong Marcos and Leni Robredo wins the 2022 elections.
The presidential contender believes that if former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. or Vice President Leni Robredo win the forthcoming elections, the unrest in the Philippines will continue. Pacquiao remarked in an interview with ABS-CBN that the feud between the two camps will continue even after the election.
According to the senator, the country may be impacted by the conflict between the two camps because they are not focusing on improving the lives of Filipinos. It is said that the two groups’ time will be squandered in tearing them down.
“Kung manalo si Bongbong, hindi naman titigil ang kaguluhan. Buti kung papayag yang mga dilawan,” he said.
“Kung manalo naman ang dilawan, papayag kaya ang kabila? So ganoon na lamang ang politika natin dito hindi na tayo maka-focus sa economic growth and development sa ating bansa. Ang maapektuhan ay ‘yung ating mga kababayan,” he added.
According to polls, Marcos and Robredo are seen as opponents in the race. Meanwhile, presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso urged Pangasinans to put an end to the purported war between the two colors of red and yellow.
“Hindi na matatapos ang away ng pula at dilaw, either of them kung sino ang iboboto nyo, and I will respect that whoever you are going to vote whether pula o dilaw because this is democracy. And I respect everyone’s rights, views, and opinions,” he said during his visit to Lingayen.
It demanded that the 39-year conflict between red and yellow/pinklawan be terminated. He believes that the people are already stressed out and will be unable to cope with the confrontation between the two sides and that whoever wins will find it difficult to surrender.
So he promised the people of Pangasinan that he would fight beside him. The mayor further stated that if he is chosen, he will have complete peace of mind. There are no quarrels, retaliation, or deprivation. He and his lineup members will concentrate on fixing the problems of goods, power, fuel, houses, schools, hospitals, fundamental human needs, and people’s employment.
