Mar Roxas Says To Rodrigo Duterte, ‘Hangad ko ang tagumpay mo’
The supporters continue to shout his name that caused for the former secretary Mar Roxas to cry while accepting defeat to his presidential opponent Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.
According to balita.net, Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas said that it is clear based on the unofficial count of Comelec that Mayor Rodrigo Duterte will be the next president of the Republic of the Philippines.
2:00 pm yesterday, appeared in an unofficial count of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting ( COMELEC ) exceeds 6,107,358 votes of Duterte than Roxas.
“Digong (nickname of Duterte), I wish you success. Your victory is a victory of our people and of our country,” added by the pride of Aquino administration.
While giving his thanks to his supporters, Roxas was unable to stop being emotional to his supporters. The former secretary of Department of Interior and Local Government also gave his thanks to President Aquino, his family, to his wife Korina Sanchez and to his running mate Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo for their support and for promoting the “Daang Matuwid” platform.
“To all of you who took up the cudgels, who shared in our aspirations, na nakasama kong tumayo, maraming, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat,” said Mar Roxas.
