Miriam Defensor- Next Administration Should Charged President Aquino And Other Government Officials
Presidential aspirant Sen. Miriam Defensor insisted the next administration should pursue filing a case graft and corruption against President Aquino and other government officials who is responsible for using illegal Disbursement Acceleration Program and Priority Development Assistance Fund.
If ever she will be elected as a President on Monday, Miriam Defensor promised that she will prioritize the “big fish” in the government.
“Oh yes, it should be part of the continuing effort because corruption is so embedded in our bureaucracy. You cannot get rid of it in a month or six months. That’s talking through your hat,” said Santiago in a television interview.
Aside for the President, Senate President Franklin Drilon and Budget Secretary Florencio “Butch” Abad was also charged in the office of Ombudsman because of using the illegal DAP and PDAF, both declared “unconstitutional” by the Supreme Court.
According to balita.net, the administration of Aquino was accused by using the P377M worth of lump sum appropriation despite the declaration of the supreme court that this is illegal.
Santiago believes, one of the primary reasons why Pnoy supports the candidacy of Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas is to digest the latter case that will be filed against Aquino for his upcoming end term in July 1.
According to Santiago, Aquino’s administration main focus is to give a massive support to who will refuse to impeach President Aquino.
Aside for Aquino, Santiago asserted that Vice President Jejomar Binay should also be charge with graft and plunder for alleged multi-billion pesos he gained in Makati City project during his mayoralty in the city.

It’s a must..These people should be held accountable for their indiscretions.Imagine majority of our countrymen are living in abject poverty, and these selfish, greedy and incorrigible politicians, enriched themselves and spends the people’s money for political whims and gains and with utmost imprudence.Worse is they do it in the guise of public service or statesman manner.Corruption is inveterate,it has plagued us for the longest time and sadly all politicians charged were never treated like common criminals.Such,is a prevalent perception of imbalance democracy.Hold them accountable and this time they should be dealt with severely!
the law has tobe given the higher regards.it should be upheld.the erring officials must be tried asap.
