Miriam ready to return to a private room from being transferred from the Intensive Care Unit of the Makati Medical Center.
All the supporters of the Senator, expressed their worry to the current condition of the Senator as it is reported that she was rushed to the hospital on Monday and later on, transferred to the ICU of the hospital.
In the afternoon yesterday, a twitter update relieved the netizens by a news indicating that she is feeling better now. In the post the senator expressed her thanks for all the wishes and concern. The good news was, Miriam is set to return to a private room from the ICU.
The Iron Lady of Asia is indeed a tough woman. Her husband said that despite her condition, she maintained her sense of humor.
The news came out when her husband Narciso “Jun” Santiago made the announcement yesterday through the post of Chelsea Deuz, the Public Affairs and Media Relation Officer of the Senator. According to the announcement, the senator was rushed into the hospital through an ambulance on Monday but announce later on Wednesday.
The family said that they cannot allow visitors and neither cannot receive gifts such as flowers and blooms. This might be a precaution and to maintain privacy to the family.
All supporters are hoping that Miriam can overcome and recover fast from her current condition. In a twitter post, Teddy Locsin Jr. expressed his well wishes to the senator.
