Mocha tells critics to unite and help Rodrigo Duterte.
Mocha Uson, the leader of sexy-group Mocha Girls, urged the critics to unite and help presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte. She believes that she will bring a positive change to the nation.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Mocha said that Filipinos should unite for the betterment of the country. Although many people are not still in favor of Duterte, she said that they should support him as he will become the next president.
“Dapat nga wala nang bashing, dapat magkaisa na. At marami pa ring hindi pabor kay Duterte pero since iluluklok na siya bilang pangulo, kailangan suportahan na po natin siya,” she said.
Mocha Girls have been active supporters of the outgoing Davao City Mayor. They were seen performing during campaign rallies of Duterte in cities and provinces across the country.
She also admitted that the proposed liquor ban and curfew of Duterte will affect the industry they are working in. But for the good of everyone, she said that they are willing to make small sacrifices.
“Handa kaming isakripisyo iyong negosyo namin, pagpapa-sexy namin para sa ikabubuti nang bansa. Iyon ang gusto namin, iyong pagbabago,” she said.
Mocha Uson also denied that they are being paid to perform. She said that they do not have talent fee as they are doing it for free to support their candidate.
Aside from performing on campaign sorties, she has also dedicated their Facebook page to Duterte. The page, known for posting updates about the incoming president, has already reached more than 3 million likes.
