New Planet Similar to Earth Discovered by Scientists
A new planet similar to earth was discovered by scientists in Berlin, Germany. On Friday (August 12, 2016) In our galactic neighborhood the new-found planet was believed to be earth like. Also its orbits and stars are found to favor life.
An anonymous sources was quoted by a magazine stating that the exoplanet orbits a well-investigated star called Proxima Centauri, part of the Alpha Centauri star system. At a distance of Proxima Centauri the earth like planet was believed allowing liquid water on its surface. This sign indicates as an appearance of life.
The planet was still nameless according to the European Southern Observatory (ESO) a second earth was never been discovered by previous scientists that is so close to earth. The final findings and results will be announced at the end of August.
The planet such as Jupiter and Neptune were made of gas rather than rock. Rock planet such Earth and mars were able to host water in liquid form. The new planet has a great potential to be like earth unlike the discovery of new planets in the past that was too hot or too cold to contain liquid.
